    I don't speak German, but it seems they really did the resto correctly, and used some big names, Ruf for one. Very cool way to spend a few hours on the net.

    I just don't see why they did not start with an S or at least an E.

    It is one thing when buying a driver, but for a full resto the additional 10-30k for the base car will pay off by far more in final value.

    It was an interesting video.

    I don't know why they missed so many of the little details? I could name a handful. For being German I would assume that there would be many enthusists that would be able to help aide in the "correctness" factor. Not to be overly critical but if Americans put a Corvette together incorrectly would you expect the Germans to point a finger?


    I understand it was built as a driver but still why change all of the details?

    Your right: when your talking about a top level restoration in needs to be correct, even if that means being inferior. There are a few exceptions of course, and if build for personal taste only, nothing else matters ( long as you don't expect to win at Pebble Beach). Did anybody else notice its a US model car?
