I notice it has at least one armrest chrome end cap and one correct side deco rocker trim. These are very hard to get items and if a pair of each are both present then the restorer is going to save a whole load of dollars during the rebuild (ask me how I know how!!)

In fact it look like most of the correct bits and pieces are there in the pics.

Dang, I feel truly blessed with the 67S I picked up and stashed 15 years ago and stored. At that time I thought it was a rat and seriously considered parting it. How times have changed, I look at it now and it's a 99% car and I haven't touched it in those 15 years.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.

Also did not sell with a high bid of $11,300 back in Feb. per the 911S ebay thread.

    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...&postcount=266

    Year: 1967
    VIN: 305905S
    Winning bid: See notes
    Auction end date: Feb-12-08
Notes: Reserve not met at US $11,300.00 (The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.)

Note that back then the wheels were 5.5in fuchs.

Edit: on a side note, and please forgive the newbie question, are the 67S more or less valuable than the later MFI cars?

Shouldn't there be cross drilled rotors ?
And that is a rather early wood wheel for a '67 - S

Seems like a mixed bag but some nice parts and a great color combo for sure.

Good eye on the wood wheel. The first time on ebay it had the stocker. I wonder what else got swapped out. I bet the wood wheel is a repo.

I was wondering if this was the same car.. I remember it as being pretty rotted underneath.

The 20-30K range seems reasonable. Put another 30-40K into it and you might actually break even when all said and done.
