    Road America July 17-20

Brian Redman's vintage racing event is coming up in 2 weeks. We've got quite a few Early S / R Gruppe guys attending. This is ALWAYS a great weekend.

The highlight is always the Fri night show in Elkhart Lake where they drive the race cars from the track and the Road & Track Concours (Tilton: just for the record, you didn't hear that word from my lips ....) in Elkhart on Sat night.

Stop by and say hi. I may be in my red quattro.

Arrive in Milwaukee at 6:15PM on Weds. 2.5 hours to cross the pond. That boat holds about 50 cars and has 12,000 HP!

So the plan for the driving tour on Thursday is to leave from Lake Mills mid-morning. Probably head to George Stoffer's place first and check out his vintage collection, maybe about noon. He's located right near the beginning of the secret roads. We'll run those for a while and try to get back to Randy's place by 4 or so for the Blessing of the Mojitos ....

Mojitos, hhmmmm... I feel my speech getting slurred already.

Quattro, eh? So is this a non-early 911 early 911 gathering? If that's the case, then I may need to bring another interesting ride. I am planning on leaving from work that is north of Chicago on Wed night. I would like to try and hook up with the sea farers and run to Randy's together. Whaddya say, matey? I see that hog lets you off in Milwaukee, should work great for me.
