    71T Targa-38,200 original miles

1971 911T targa,silver/black,38,000 original miles, one high end repaint to original color, everything else is original and unrestored.3rd owner,Tucson car, concours condition with score sheets, original Fuchs in perfect condition, interior is spotless and shows little wear anywhere, original targa top is as new, seats are as new, leather wrapped wheel, mechanically excellent with Zeniths. Car has no rust anywhere and has original undercoating.J. Smith has seen the car and had high praise for it. It is as described. The car as shown has some NOS parts on it. All original lenses and lights are available and are on the car and shifter nob for those who noticed.Air box as well and horn grills and spoiler inserts where the fogs are. This is one of those "time warp" cars.It still has the original factory sticker in the windshield. It has been well cared for and garaged forever.Books, records, tools, jack, Wiedman done spare,Hirschmann "An den Wagenbesitzer"-antenna key.Still has the plastic plugs and rubber strips in the battery boxes and factory wire lock over the brake reservoir..An exceptional 911! 55,000K TFM

I cannot speak for the car, but I can speak to Tom's character and his devotion and love for these cars. I only wish I was in the market for a targa as I would buy this without hesitation and without PPI based strictly on Tom's word. I do not say this about many people.

Good luck with the sale Tom. If you find yourself in Denver, we will definitely have to get together.

Looks fabulous. Ditto on what Raj, Phil and Jason said .... Tom's cars are to be envied, and justifiably so.
And its a targa. The rarest of the rare. Only people with good taste buy targa's. Coupes are for the riff-raff.
    Best of luck.

I haven't seen this one but can tell you that the E Coupe is a jaw dropper. I cannot imagine this one is any less!

    Good luck!

You know when I lived in Md I don't remember any of those funny looking trees and it was a whole lot greener.

    Thanks

Thank you all! OK,the pics are from Tucson. Both cars are currently in Maryland in a heated garage and we are moving back to Tucson. We are probably not going to have room for them and that`s the reason for the sale.I haven`t noticed any of those funny looking trees here either,Phil. In my reference to Jeff Smith having seen the 71T,I have to laugh, because he has refered to Targas as "parts cars".He actually said he really liked this one,so I will let that stand by itself.I will be happy to photograph any area of the car for anyone. Tom,
Good Luck on the move. I'M in AZ every summer and would love to meet you and your cars. No one even gave you a hard time about your $5.5M (55,000K OBO)asking price.
