    Where is this picture from?

    Chuck posted this picture in a thread about SWB rally cars.

    Anybody know where it's from?

    What are these (circled red)?

    Bumpers?

    Or could they be some sort of bumpers for a rear rack for spare tire - it is a ralley car. Would the aluminum lid support the weight?

    Looks like the lower 40 on the farm though we never chased cattle with a Porsche.

    Why not? Surely an East African Safari 911 or a Dakar 959 would have
    been *the* best way to round up mobile beef.

    With the kangaroo cage from a London-Sydney car you could do some
    tipping without damaging the front end. :-)

    My vote is for peg/clip style latches. Seems like if you did it right you could lose the hinges too... I don't think I've ever seen that done up close.
