    Engine # Question

    My 69T has engine # 6192459 (now).
The Cardex states this should be 6191033 (delivered).
Im not worried by the fact that the engine may have been replaced over the years.
My question is ; Records show that 69T engines were numbered - 6190001 - 6192455, the engine I have in know is 4 numbers after this run, 6192459.
    Please help

Perhaps a factory replacement engine. Here's another idea: I read you
got your Kardex from the dealer, the dealers also have another CDROM
which indexes not just chassis numbers, but engines and transmissions
too. They can reverse search starting with an engine or transmission
number and find out which car it belongs to.

Andy, I was thinking factory replacement too.
Thats a great idea checking from the engine #, if the engine doesnt match up with a chassis #, it would be a replacement.

    Andy,

    Thanks for the confirmation.

I look forward to read whether Matt911 succeeds in his quest.
