    early 911 era Christophorus magazines

    all;
    "Christo" has been the factory journal since 1953. It includes the best in photography, text & editing covering technical, racing, driver profiles, new product roll outs, etc. prices include postage (media mail) to any U.S. address. 'condition' indicates condition of the cover(s). interiors are clean and bright. all editions are in English.
    1) 1968 #'s 73,74,76 & 78. [condition 6] $45 postpaid SOLD
    2) 1973 #'s 105,106,107 & 108. [condition 8] $45 postpaid SALE PENDING
    3) 1970 full year [condition 8] $65 postpaid SOLD
    4) Special Issue September 1968 (right) and Sports Year Book 1970 (L)
    these are unnumbered issues. besides the introduction of the 356B in 1959 I know of no other special issues. these run 80 pages each and are heavy on the photos. both concentrate on racing. the '68 ed. leans on a historical perspective starting before Porsche was a seperate entity and ending with the '68 season. the '70 edition contrates on the expoits of that season alone. naturally this one is laden w/ 917 stuff, but there is some 911 coverage as well. lots of driver profiles; McQueen, Revson, etc. $45 each postpaid.

    I don't know about the '68 special but the '70 Sport Year book indeed does have a number,albeit hidden in the index page.
    Its number 91 for Feb '71.
    It was the first mag of my 16 year subscription and I still have it here !

    Christophorus got started in '52. English issues in '56.

    The 1968 Special Issue is English No. 77

    The 1970 Sports Yearbook is English No. 91
