    Question Engine Sheetmetal Finish?

    I Need To Know What Finish Is Used On The Factory Engine Sheetmetal.i Don't Want To Powder Coat.wurth,rustoleum,krylon Spray Paint? I Would Like To Have A Very Durable Finish.something That Would Withstand Gas,brake Clean Etc.

    I don't know if the sheen is spot on, but I used VHT black epoxy spray when I did my tins a couple of years ago. They looked great, sheen was very close and the finish has been very durable.

    Powder coating. 50/50 or semi-gloss black is what I use. Approximates the original finish very well.
