    WTB; light brackets

    Hi

I need two pairs of brackets for through the grill lights(see picture). The brackets are the same for 118 Driving/fog, US TN4 fog and a lot of other Hella lights. I only need the two separate halvs(or, some lights had a solid piece not separated in two halves, I can use that too) and the bolt with the square head. The through bolt that attaches the bracket to the mounting point on the light house I allready have.

PS I am not talking about the brackets that mount to the battery box's!

Were you ever successful in locating these? I'm working on the same problem. Do the mounting brackets for the current Hella 500 lights work?

Here is what I got from Susquehanna Motorsports:

Here is their response to my request.

"I am not sure exactly what you need. What I do have is the mount that Hella still uses for the 450, 500, 550 and others. The actual Porsche mounts that go through the small grills next to the turn signals are not available and I don't know exactly how they fit. All three of my early 911's did not have the 118's they all have the 128's that fit below the bumper. I believe the mounts for the 500 will work; however, I am not sure.

The colors may vary. Some are all black; some are all chrome and some, like these, are mixed.

They are called the HL20950 and they are US$8.84 a piece. It would be US$25.18 for a pair shipped to you.

    Take care,

    Gregg"

One thing to note. In the factory "kit" that you could buy for the car to install a pair of lights..., the square head bolt was much longer and had a one inch spacer in it. This is so that the light would mount a little further out from the grill, with a shorter bolt there is a tendency to rub against the grills.
