    Painted underside?

Could I call on collective advise about this?
My car is ready for paint now - has been dipped and coated.
I want to go for the no underseal/wrinkle(sic) painted look - same as the yellow ST and white TR shown in the attachments.
Everyone I have spoken to locally says NO! and I don't think the paint guy I have (or maybe had) lined up is willing to contemplate it.
What's the view re maintainence / durability ??
Car is going to be lightweight for v.occasional use and trackdays only.

Alan, if you reading this before next Thurs can you have a think?
