I'm using later a cam housing on the left side that is designed for the later cams with the FI drive off the front side of the engine. My question is.. Do I install the plug (#16) along with the cam seal (#26)? I am running webers not the FI system. I've had leakage off the left front for a long time with just the seal, had not thought of running with the plug also until now with even more leakage coming off the left front.
Any suggestions welcome.. Bob

Plug only, no seal needed. Sealant around plug, although Porsche didn't, you can for more insurance.

For some reason my crankcase breather cover was blowing a lot of oil on the left front of the engine.. How'd I do that??
