Thread: Drive to the Autofest

    Drive to the Autofest

I will be organizing a drive to the German Autofest this year. The route will take us through the Santa Monica Mountains and out to the Camarillo airport for breakfast like in years past. From the airport we will caravan to the event.

THIS IS A SATURDAY MORNING DRIVE

I know that there will be some folks staying at the hotel on Friday night - you are obviously welcome to participate but please plan accordingly because scheduling will be tight in order to get to breakfast and the GAF in a timely fashion.

Keep your eyes on this thread for more info later today and tonight. I will do my best to have route maps at the starting point, as well.

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me or drop me an e-mail at marco@tlgauto.com.

    Thanks!
    -Marco

    Sounds like a blast

My Dad and I will be watching for more details. We might not do the whole Camarillo breakfast thing. Might join in for the canyons.

The Early 911S Registry and R Gruppe will be able to park wherever they want. Their traditional grass area will be saved for them or any dissenters can park on main street or elsewhere.

    the drive in to GAF

For awhile, I thought I was going to miss the GAF. I now will be attending.

I will probably be going up on Friday. Those who are interested, let me know if you want to caravan from OC to Ventura.

We can leave the Marriott on Saturday morning, meet everyone at the Airport, participate in the caravan to GAF.

Please read the latest R Gruppe info on the R Gruppe Forum.

I've decided to drive your RS...or your 72. Whichever one you don't drive, that's the car I'll be driving. We should chat so we can arrange a pick-up/drop-off schedule.
