    Phil Hill

Just read on the TNF forums that Phil Hill passed away today. I certainly hope this is not true.....

It is true. Denise McCluggage wrote the obit for AutoWeek. I believe she dated Phil Hill as well as Steve McQueen. And won some races.

What a great loss. I have a J. Alexander photo of Mr. Hill. What an amazing mechanic, driver, enthusiast, and restorer.

    The checkered Flag...

    Sadly it's true:

Mr. Hill succumbed to respiratory illness problems @ 10:30 (or thereabouts) this morning in Monterey. He was 81

Sad day. Thanks for the Memories, and being our champion!
