    Detailing engine

    First pricture shows angine as is. I am having the engine detailed but want to know where to buy the bronze screws and clips.

    Not sure what screws and clips you are refering to, but the are non made of bronze on the engine. All the golden colored stuff are steel covered by cadmium. Now a days most people use "yellow" zinc to get the same golden finish. Most platers can do your bolts/nuts etc, they will look like new and just like the original hardware.

    This is my engine detailed after an engine fire. All nuts, bolts, brackets, rods etc has been plated with yellow zinc. All the black paint are powder coating. Decals bought new. New cardboard hoses and new rubber hoses. All electrical wires removed and cleaned. Fan and housing glass blasted and coated with Gibbs oil.
