    Aluminum Lic. Plate Panel

I have one rare aluminum lic. plate panel and one metal panel. The aluminum panel has some damage on one side but well worth getting fixed since these panels are rare to find. The metal panel has some minor dings but in good shape. Make me an offer.

Freddie; could you please post a close up of the damage on the alu panel.

BTW I belive its the rules of this forum that you must state a price. You can state a price and OBO if you like.

John, I will work on getting you a close up picture of the damage today. Thanks for the reminder on stating a price. I don't really know what these panels are worth so I did not state a price....I will look this up. Thanks

Freddie; If I where you I would ask a question in the General section. The members could help you with records of previous sales both on this forum and Ebay. Then you would have a good average price level to determin your price.

    Freddie,
the last one in good shape I saw on ebay Germany went for 170 EUR/260 USD.

Here is the damage on the aluminum panel. Being a body/paint man, I can tell it's going to need some tig welding on minor cracks, some hammer/dolly work, bondo, primer and paint.

Martin, are you sure it went for $260? For that kind of mula, I am motivated to repair and paint the panel.

I was told today from the previous owner of the panel that he bought it new from Porsche back in the 70's.

NO LONGER FOR SALE. Once I have done the repairs on both panels, I will repost for sale with an exact amount and in excellent condition. Sorry about this but I can't conscientiously sale them with this type of damage. I will leave them both in primer.... so stay tuned. Regards, Freddie

    P.S. Chuck I'm on it.
