I'm going, Looks like a lot of rain Saturday. That pretty much nixes the idea of the speedster or the special, I'll either drive up with the 71, or the Cayenne. There are over 500 registered attendees, hopefully most of the wont be as lame as me.

Okay so we had a little rain but that didn't stop anything

Some great pics of some great cars on the 356 registry site

Hey Nick I took my speedster after all, sorry I missed meeting you. Don't know about you, but I got about two gallons of water in my car on the way back, no side curtains. Even my shoes filled with water! Had a blast!!!

    Water in the car

Rob, actually I think the Speedster did really well - just a wee leak from the windscreen wiper holes - worse on the wife's side. One of my wipers tried to jump ship on the way back from Bethel but I found it - just need to repair it .

The top dried out really quickly and not much water in the footwell.

Great event and great people, and nothing stopped the fun.... Sorry to have missed meeting up , although being responsible for the wine pouring on Saturday I did met a lot of people .....

    cheers
