304634 would be a later 66, later even than 304065. Will not be a good base for a 64 resto. I sent you an email.

    I think it's 302634 which was on eBay. Still a few differences w/ a 64/65.

302634 was the VIN advertised on ebay

    22,100 for a parts car.

Seems to be too much of a shame to cut that one up as it appears to have matching numbers and no terminal rust.

Talk to the factory, the facts are:

    1965: 300326-303390 production year
1965: 300326-301945-50(aprox.) model year, from there on its 66 model year.

Transition from 65 to 66 model year was in the summer (July) and the last cars of the model year was around 301950.

use the search function for "final transition", you will see that this has been well documented. I hope this news is not a dissapointment.

This is a small part of the list from the tread (the first year listed is the production year and the last year the model year. The info has been provided by the owners of the cars and from their documentation of when the car was produced and what model year car they have)

Wouldn't a dry 912 be the better car to scarfice for such a project? That 911 looks pretty decent but hey whatever floats your boat....
