Sold for US $3,300.00
Here we have a set of Fuchs in 4.5J x 15, part #901.361.012.01. We all know how hard it is to find a set of these 911S wheels, so don't miss the chance! This set of 15 x 4.5 Fuchs is in good condition with some repairs needed to the finish. The painted "darts" are still visible, but have some fading. There are some scuffs and scratches which have been pictured below, so please check out the pics. There is one wheel with damage (a scrape) on the inside, this is pictured as well. These wheels could certainly be worn as is, or send them out for refinishing for the ultimate early 911S wheel.

I thought about it until I saw the seller's feedback rating. Anything below 95% positve and I think twice, and this guy was below 80% if memory serves.
The above link takes one to an auction with a BIN of $3800ish. Did they sell but not sell?

there was another set that sold for $3300 a day ago by a somewhat more reputable seller, well, at least better feedback, and well known and well thought of on the 356 boards...
I would have to agree that I would never buy from the current seller, One should always draw their own conclusion, but I cannot come up with a legitimate reason to use private auctions, which is the norm with this seller... well, other than to be able to use shill bidding to raise your items price. There are particular sellers where you can watch their items, and scratch your head and wonder why their items (or cars) seems to be generating bids in excess of other comparable cars. Some might even remember a couple 912's this particular seller had a while back that generated some pretty decent bids. Surely just a result of superior marketing skills and favorable Euro denominated currency translations, as shill bidding was illegal last I checked.
Hmmm....relisted....
