    FS: Early Sport Seats

    I have 2 sets of early sport seats (1969-1973) and I need to sale 1 pair. The pair I wish to sell is in great structural shape, but needs recovering. It was poorly done years ago and it is time to do them correctly. I just got my other seats from Tony and these need to go. I am offering the seats for $4500 or best offer. This price is based on a $2500 investment to make them $8000 seats. The seats come with a pair of single lock tilt brackets, but they need work... and lots of it. As a teazer, I am including a picture of the houndstooth seats Tony just completed.

    Those are the 72-73 sport seats, correct? And would not be correct in a 70-71 model?

    These seats could be rebuilt for anything from 69-73. The double locker tilts would be the only thing needed to make it 1973 correct

    For 69-71 leather seats, the bolsters should have perforated leather.
    You might need different headrest for 69-71.
    Good luck with sale.

    Repro materiel is available but is does not match really the OEM, since the perforated spacing is slightly different and the "holes" are punched different.
    Vinyl/Leatherette bolsters are ok since that materiel is flat. You might need different headrest for 69-71.

    You are correct about the perforated leather, but I am not advertising these as leather. I am merely suggesting that they could be rebuilt to any style from 69-73. I do not know the availability of "OEM quality" perforated leather, but the 72-73 vinyl that Tony has is dead on in my opinion.
