71E ...powder coating is a good thing

Picked up a round of powder coated parts today, from Skagit Powder Coating (location info for PNW types). my 71E resto project moves forward. The engine is close to complete. lot's of hardware still at the platers, but should be complete by next weekend. The project moves forward. Behold ...powder coated goodness. (may not be factory correct, but very nice..)
    regards,

    Al,

Looks like you're making some serious progress. The engine looks great!

Kenik, Queen City Plating is also a lot like going to prison.

    Kenik,
I PM'd you regarding the cost. This was my first time with them. They were fairly gentle. (At least I didn't have to make them breakfast the next morning) Rich, I have a butt load of hardware, MFI linkage, brake shields, etc at Electrofinishing Inc, in Kent. I don't have the final quote in hand yet, but I'll let you know what the damage is. They were recommended to me by Chris Nielson and after contacting them, they sounded quite reasonable.

    regards,
