    COA KARKEX stupid question

    I have been dealing in the porsche world for about 6 years now and I always taught coa and kardex were the same ,, i read something in the tread today that makes me doubt that ,, if they are different , how can you obtain the kardex

    Kardex is actually the name of a company that made the filing system.

    Once upon a time, Porsche would copy a card from their Kardex which contained assorted build information about a car. That card was intended to support Porsche's warranty work. There's an article at the 356 Registry Website: Porsche Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Kardex which can tell you more than I can.
