Vasek Polak engines for early 911's

Mr Vasek Polak as many of you probably know (I did not undtill recently) was, apart from other things, supposedly a trick engineer which succesfully tuned engines for racing porsches including 911's.

Would such an engine have any historical value over a similar engine using the same parts but than prepared by a today's well known tuner, and if so how much?

    thx

Provenance would be key. With that and certain buyers, the sky could be the limit. What have you?

Excuse my ignorance but did Vasek have a signature? Could one recognize a Vasek engine by certain characteristics?

I would think the key would be the paperwork and documentation. It would have to be more than just being done at the dealership.

If you have this documentation it could be very interesting.

    Good luck with this.
