Help fund my early 911 acquisition :-)

There seemed to be some intermittent interest in my 20k miles 993 C2S.

<Administrator> I am not sure about the rules here for advertising a Porsche, so please forgive me if this is not allowed, and feel free to delete as appropriate.

The sale of this car will (partially) fund my acquisition of an early 911. Thanks for looking.

Thanks. Yeah, the Rennlist add just has one picture. I figure if there is any interest I can send dozens. However, maybe I will add an interior shot. Also, the car is listed in PCA Mart/Pano and Autotrader now.

    thanks

I just sold my very very nice RS America Initial price $42K, Zero response, when I priced it at $36K I had multiple buyers.

A 20K mile car is great, but at $57,000 a $25k premium, takes a very special buyer. The problem with very low mileage cars, is that the value of the car drastically drops when the new owner decides to actually drive his car. This has always been the dilemma when paying a premium for a low mileage car that has not achieved collector status.

I had to rethink my pricing strategy, for the current economic conditions, when I did my car sold.

On the bright side, there maybe buying opportunities when your shopping for your early 911.

Best of luck, on both sides

    You mentioned RS America... this was a 993 C2S, not a 964 (?)

Anyway, it sold for asking price last weekend. I have owned a few of these 993 widebodies and follow the market pretty close. The ones with very low mileage, top condition, and uniqe factory options usually have no problem trading in the mid to upper $50s. All day long. Tiptronics, narrow body, weird colors, non-black interior, all a different story...they sell lower.

I actually think that had I been willing to invest some long term patience, could have even sold for even more.

I say this with all due respect, no offense meant.

Now time to find an early 911!

Congratulations on the sale, you should have no trouble finding a nice early car.
