How to tell the difference between older and newer oil pumps? Three rib vs Four rib?

Hello! I am doing the oil bypass modification on my 2.4 911T engine case and want to use the later type of oil pump. Here's the rub...I do not know how to tell the difference between the original type of oil pump and the type that was used after 1976. I keep reading about 3 rib and 4 rib, but they all look the same to me! What am I looking for? Does anyone have a picture of the later type of oil pump to show me, please? It would be cool to have a picture of the old type too, for comparison purposes. Thanks a lot for the help! M
