    303156 still has 4 screw grills (matching # fender).

    It seems that shortly after, like first week of January the 2 screw grill got introduced.

    strange dates Apr on 324 and Aug on 676 cant be right.... I think the Apr date must be delivery date for the 324.

    Could be 324..... or 1324.... as they only stamped the last 3 digits....

    By 1324 there was not a tall grill anymore. Of course the grill could not have been original to the lid.

    Were rear lids stamped up to vin 301324?
    I am not sure if the tall grille was original to the rear lid.

    this is an early lid...it has the rail for the rubber seal that later was attached to the center panel...

    Then it belonged probably to 300324. But if that car has been rebuild to a RSR replica, probably they don’t need the original engine lid.
