    Trans Number help

So I went under the car for the umpteenth time today and though, "hmm, I should write down the trans info off my car" like i always do, so I dictated it to my nine year old megan. Came in and did a search on it..

    902/02 = 5 speed 912 trans... Hmmmm.. I thought it matched the coa.. would they put a 902/02 in a 67 911s??

    12 8 0433 is the serial number...

I found the site marked below which says it's a LSD equip trans.. At least that sounds right.. Am I reading the info right?? what does the 8 mean??

    http://www.roadglue.com/wiki/index.p...#Serial_Number

Anyway, now i've got to find that darn COA.. Where did I put it.. I know I confirmed this 10 plus years ago, but maybe not..

    Any thoughts??

Also, what would have been the stock ratios for a 902/02??
