    Please tell me what these markings mean on a 901 trans

    This is a 1970 901 gearbox. can anyone tell me more about these factory markings?

    I have no clue about those markings, I am curious what leads you to believe they are factory? thanks tom

    Please tell me what these markings mean on a 901 trans

    I have seen the gear ratios written on the side of the box on factory race cars, but I think it was always expressed as the tooth count of the input and output shafts, like 26/27 for example. Have no idea what yours are. How has that preservative survived all these years?
