    Value of NOS Muffler Skirt???

This is not an offer to sell, but am curious if anyone can opine as to the estimated value of an NOS LWB muffler skirt in what's left of the original plastic wrapper. Never mounted, of course. TIA.

Not sure of the price of the complete set of three, but I sold my center piece skirt for $600. My piece is in good shape.

Anything can be made, but that particular muffler skirt for a Carrera is just stamped steel(?) with a rolled wire edge, it's then bent to fit the car, but as you see it, it's just a flat piece of metal.

I have the resources to make them. I just can't lay my hands on a set to get the ball rolling.

I also have a sheet metal fabricator I am connected with that can laser cut to the finest detail. All he would need is an autocad drawing to produce the parts.

I have a full muffler skirt on my 73 911E coupe. Mine needs a little straightening and polishing. I am not opposed to someone copying the dimensions in trade for a discounted repro or a rebuild of mine.

The side pieces have compound curves. The finish appears brushed, not polished. I don't think anyone will be reproducing them anytime soon, they are way more complicated than they appear.

The compound curves are not an issue.

Even at low volumes this feature could be replicated cost effectively.
