    73 Door Pockets?

    Need your help again.

I purchased these off ebay thinking I had the deal of a lifetime. Looked like a near perfect set of early door pockets that I desperately need and for a very good price.

After closer inspection and kilodawg's eagle eye, they did not look right from the photos. Both of us are stumped as to what they might be. Especially the USA in the one part number. After market set maybe? The shape of the under door pocket is what is really giving us fits. It might be the camera angle but it looks too small. They should be in hand in a few days so I can look at them on the car, but thought one of you might know.

    Thanks.

looks like someone got tired of the trim popping out and wanted to prevent further damage. the added piece seems to be folded over to keep the trim in.

this is common that the trim is loose and gets snagged by the driver's foot when exiting

    Door pockets

    Steve,
Thsy look normal to my eye. The bracket that has been added to hold the top of one of the pockets & the trim in place throws the image off a little. But these look correct for 2 front maps pockets
Not sure if I'm misreading your post - but are you under the impression that these are a set: front fixed map pocket & a flip out rear pocket?

Yes he bought them thinking that they were a complete (4 pockets) for both doors. It's pretty clear from the pictures that they are not. He has two fronts but what are the others?

    Steve,

    What are the others???

    There are no others

Its just a bunch of pictures of the 2 same front pockets which look real to me also except for the add on steel brackets

You guys are correct. Just the front pockets with a metal piece added to give it support. Still in very good shape so they will work out fine. Now I need to find the other half of the equation.
