    exhaust smell in cabin

    Hi:

When I put the heat on the interior cabin starts to smell of wasted gas/somthing else. As a a bit of heat comes through the front windshield vents, I get a coat of smog to the inside of the windshield. Goes away once cleaned.

Any ideas on this? New heat exchangers in order?, or a crack, or something else?

Gotta get this fixed as I am either freezing my as_ off or am high on the fumes. Nasty stuff.

Have you looked at the condition of your heat exchangers? Could be rusted out exchangers, or just a leaky gasket.
