    WTB: steering bearing/ring/spring

    Need early steering column:
    -split ring
-spring (these are <$2 new, so I guess this piece isn't a big deal)
    seen below...

Also, if someone could tell me if I need the rubber horn cuff for a Prototipo, that would be helpful.

And new labels for the clamshell would be helpful too.

My Momo wheel did not require the rubber cuff as it came with it's own horn button.

You still need the Spring and Bushing on the part that connects to your steering column spline.

    Bill,

I am thinking that "Bushing" (my term) and "Bearing" (your term) are the same thing. It goes on the end of the shaft (with the spring) that goes over the steering column spline. The lower picture above shows the spring/bushing combo I am refering to.

    o.k,
    1. the spring
    2. the split ring, or bushing

The cup-shaped bearing (shown in the left pic) is actually pressed into my column.
