One of the attendees at the Rally in the Vally (Vic Rola) had a $50 special. What was so special is that it sounded like I remember "Sport Mufflers" sounding "back in the day" .
He made it himself. Check PANO for the tech article from the Upfixin' der Porsche books which are now online.

    Mark,

I have the Factory option sport muffler on my car. I do like the sound, no raspy or harmonic sounds through the rev. range and not 'piss off the neighbors too much' loud either. I can crawl under it when I get home and get the part # if you like. It is 2 in and 1 out with the exhaust opening a little larger than stock.

    Mark,

The part # is 911.111.025.00S I'm not sure where mine came from but you could start with Pelican. It is not listed on the site but they may be able to order it from Germany. Hope this helps.
