? Re. Restoring Glove Box & Door Pockets

Good day to all of the 911 restoration experts out there in la la land. Has anyone discovered the mystery of restoring, replacing or duplicating the fuzzy like material on the inside of the above? My opinion is the cardboard material originally used to make these was covered with an ultra thin material which appeared to have that "fuzzy" look but was not flocked, as with 356's. I was able to peel off a small piece of this material from one of the protected areas of the door pockets. Is there another solution I am missing?

? Re. Restoring Glove Box & Door Pockets

Tom, I bought a "flocking kit" (boy, that almost sounds obscene) to do my glove box. I was NOT successful. I sprayed on some glue, then tried to dust in the flocking by hand. Needless to say it was not an even finish. I think there was a previous post here where someone came up with a sprayer to do this. I gave up and bought a new box from Porsche. The cost wasn't worth my trying to restore one, especially with Parade only weeks away. I had better things to get done!

I have done a lot of glove boxes for 356s and 911s, but no door pockets.
