    WTB or WTT:

I don't what it is, but I woke up the other day craving an early 911.

I've owned a few 911's but none earlier than an '89. Currently I have a hot-rod 997S and while it's amazingly fast and good handling, I need more drama in my life. In other words, I need a redhead instead of a brunette.

So if anyone feels the opposite and wants to explore the wonders of nav, cold a/c, little or no maintenance, etc in a 911, let me know and let's do a trade. Or if you know of a car that would satisfy my craving, that's good too.

I don't need a collector car, because I will drive it and continue to do track days, etc. I do need one that has no stories. I'm not in a place right now to finish someone's project. Turn key, great paint, wonderful interior, solid engine, etc. Originality optional. A backdated G50 coupe with a 3.6 that looks like a fake RS is more like what I'm after.

    I'm in Santa Cruz.

    Cheers,

    --Pete

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Yeah, I saw that white one, looks nice in the ad, I'll keep my eye on it. I'm kinda wary of ebay though, I bought and sold several 911's sight unseen, but always from established forum guys that I got a good feel about.

Does anyone know this car, and if it's still available?

I had a few people ask about my car so here's a link to a thread over on Rennlist with some pics:

I'll be driving my 72T to the R Gruppe Treffen in SLO this Sat. Asking $35K. I can't post any pictures because the file is too big but can email to you. I had an ad posted here a while back but I think it's gone. It's the car in my avatar, which gives you an idea.
    Leaf green 72T, SOLD!
Gone back to my MoPar roots!

Also, does anyone know anything about this car? Looks amazingly clean and a reasonable price IMO.
