    Fog light switch insert

I have a few fog light insert for the rubber cover of switch knob. The strange thing is that these are green, not yellow. They have the same part number, the same symbol and design. I know that in the resent years green are used universaly as the switch light color for fogs by most car makers, are these a later version? They came in a Porsche parts bag with Porsche sticker.

To risk telling you something you already know, on a 73 the lense is amber (with the fog light pattern in the center).
