    What's your mileage with webers?

2.4 w/ webers. pretty certain it is NOT stock T internals as it starts pulling quite a bit harder at around 3700.

17-18mpg on the highway. between not wanting to fill it to the brim and not wanting to let it get below 1/4 tank i find myself stopping an awful lot for gas.

With a 3 litre engine, 40mm Webers with 36 mm throats, headwork, 20 / 21 Webcams, recurved centrifugal-only disrtibutor, SSI's with modified 2-out muffler, 2300 lbs. vehicle weight, a 915 with 8:31 final drive and 225 / 60 x 15, I consistently get about 20-21 on the road, driving on the average of 3500 to 4500 RPM ( 70+ to approx 90+MPH ). Haven't really bothered to figure out "city" milage. What's the point ?

2.7 with Carrera RS P&C, 911S cams and big port heads. With 40mm Webers with 34mm venturis I am getting 21 MPG on the highway at a constant 75 MPH, probably around 11 MPG around town.

I averaged 24mpg to the R Gruppe Treffen in SLO. On the freeway I was doing about 80-90 mph (slightly above 4000 rpm)
Going through the twisties in CA dropped the mileage a bit as you're mostly in 2 to 4 gear and shifting quite late.

Engine is 2.0 with 40mm Webers.

My 1971 2.2 T stock motor, with webers is a gas guzzler: 15 in town, 21 highway. If I would cruise at 68 mph, I would get 25 mpg or more, but who can do that?

25 mpg driving a constant 75 MPH with a 2.7 RS-spec, twin-plug motor, headers and one of my custom mufflers. Much less MPG when driven in anger,...
