Hello JD, thanks for the compliments on my wheel tire setup. Normally I run 6 and 7 Fuchs, but for track events I run the set up you see here. Since I was going to run the Willow track event I had to do the drive on the steels. They have been with the car for the 25 years I've had it, and I had helped the previous owner spec the wheels when he still owned it. They were made at a local wheel shop here in the Ft.Worth area (long since gone) from Porsche centers and GM 7" rims welded to a 7R offset, about a 5 1/2" back space I think. I use 5/16th" spacers at all four wheels and 225 X 50 X 15" tires. These happen to Hankook SR2S which I chose based on good reports from SCCA autocrossers that need to meet a specific wear rating number. I've been very pleased with these tires, we drove to the Parade at Charlotte last summer, autocrossed, and now drove 4,000 miles to SLO and ran the willow track. They stick as well as I had hoped for, considering they aren't the sticky R compound variety. After all that mileage they still have PLENTY of tread left. I'm trusting to memory here, so if you want me to be sure I'll have to pull a wheel and measure.

Thanks Ed for your answer ! I don't need the exact measurements, I have some spacers that I will play with. You tell me what I need ; Your car look very good !! thanks for taking time to supply details about it !

I know this is old news, but a bump to the top for a friend who would like to see pics of Treffen and our trip. These are from our first couple days on the road. Sorry if this is redundant and those who followed our trip are sick of hearing about it and seeing pics...
