WTB - Hinge for '72 Oil Filler Door

I was checking the oil level yesterday and the hinge for my oil filler door snapped when I closed it. Wierd.

Anyway - I used JB weld to glue the parts together but i doubt it will last and don't want to risk losing the door in the interim. Any sources for a replacement hinge out there?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Billet hinge for '72 oil door

I think I have one left. It's $55 shipped if I do. This is an improved design where the little arms that hold the pivot shaft have radiused bases...

P.S. I should mention, a replacement part is available from Porsche. Similar design to the original, but not identical.

"a replacement part is available from Porsche"

You're kidding me, right? You can get a replacement oil filler door hinge for a '72, but you can't get a dipstick? And I hadn't even bothered looking for new or repro parts - I thought it would just be wasting my time.

    Bill -

Can you look and see if you have any left? If so, I will take it.

    Thanks,

    Kevin
