Thread: FS: "Period Correct" Side Script and Decklid Decals

  1. #151
Does anyone know if Bob is still making the deck lid decals? I sent him a PM a few weeks ago and haven’t heard back. I would prefer to order from him as his quality and accuracy is great. If he’s not producing them, does anyone have an alternate source? Thanks in advance.

    Thanks

Bob is no longer making these. I have a set of decals at my printer being scanned and should be able to offer them soon. Taking a little longer than I though as everything does during these weird times.

I am in for a set! Even a digitally version if you offer this? I got this made for my 67 beetle last year. Not font correct but a start.

Glad I bought 4 sets when PB Tweeks had them for $5 and paid $20 for Stoddards remaining stock, a pile of them. Bob and Autosport Decals in NZ made repros from my originals, maybe the guy in NZ still makes them.

Are there any negative versions out there for painting the logo?

I have an extra set of Bob Tilton’s black 911R side stripes. Message me If you want them. They are new, I’ve decided not to use them.

Let me know when they are available. I am definitely in. I only need the deck lid decal. I would not have thought these were so hard to find. I am using the decal on a 964 and will use the decal to back mask the logo. Thanks in advance

They are hard to find because the copyright attorneys are in full force. If you advertise them for sale you will get a letter. Also Porsche classic has them now for something like $200

These ones recently printed out of Canada until the kibosch was put on them.

Will you be offering the same gamut of colours as Bob did?
