30655 Paint code, any more out there

My car was order with a custom "red resin Lesonal metallic". Most of my car was sanblasted for a slant nose make over in the eighties that was never completed. I'm not finding a really great sample to match. Are there any more 30655's out there?

The car was delivered in Frankfurt as a dealer demo in April of 1965. The color could be totally custom. 306xx number range was later used for Maroon custom metallics, but paint code #30655 is unlisted, that maybe it's just a one off. Maybe I'll get as close as I can with what is left.

This is the only instance of this color I know of.
Can you provide a photo of the paint badge please.
These custom colors are very rare, and it may even be unique. There is certainly very little documentation of them.

Here it is. It was blasted, removed, but in a good picture, the vin and color number are clear.

How much of the car have you pulled apart? How much did they sandblast? I assume you've pulled apart the dash, carpet, etc. etc.? Under the latchs for trunk and engine? See if you can spectrometer the color and have a small sample made up, then see how close of a match you have.

Can we get a pic of what you have left to work with? I'd love to see the color...
