    Color

BEAUTIFUL color, although I did not see "Kelly" Green listed in the book 'o' knowledge. Is that yet another name for Viper Green?

    Hi Jason,

I think the name Emerald or Kelly Green was used in '72 and then the name was changed to Viper Green for '73. I think it is the same color but I maybe mistaken on that.

It is indeed a beautuful car, we'll have to wait and see about the price. I think the economy is really starting to affect buyers.

Peter Morgan`s book lists Emerald green for both 72 and 73 as #225 and has "Viper" in parenthesis as the same.By the way,Jason, what gives with that avatar in Colorado.Should look like this:

    1973 911e

Did anyone happen to get a vin and paint code from the seller? I sold a 1973 911E to Brian last year that I had painted viper green with a tan Tony G. interior. My car was a color change from metallic blue.

    Cool check this

If you are thinking it may be your car, look at the pictures on e-bay and look at the battery strap in front of the fuse panel. It is green. It should be black. If it were my car,I would remember that.

    Set me straight........

I always thought the "interim" bumpers were only on CIS cars. This car has
MFI. This is a fresh restoration from a shop that should know. Made me wonder if I have been wrong all these years.

    Mark,

All U.S. imported and dealer sold '73 911's had the high-impact bumpers, front and rear. And sealed beam headlights.

Through the years 'we' have changed the U.S. period spec to that of the ROW 'F' series. Changing the period mandated impact bumpers to smaller 'Euro' bumpers... or no front bumpers at all. Also changing the U.S. spec sealed beam headlights w/big chrome rings, with ROW H-4's or H-1's.

I have a combination on my '73S of a 'Euriozed' front end (No front bumpers)with the U.S. spec impact bumpers on the rear...

    Hope this helps,
    Cheers
