    911R window details?

    Hi everyone
we are assisting another shop that is restoring a real R and looking to get some details on the windows. Already searched and found Ernie W.'s post on the rear quarter window that had a stamping in the plexi (Restartglas etc etc)
Looking for detailed shots of this and other windows on the cars that show a stamping in the plexi

fwiw- we will have VERY correct replica window sets availble in the very near future. Even the aged yellow will be available. The back window was produced with a reverse flange to allow a near flush fit with the rear chassis frame. They were glued in of course. This will also be available

    Thanks for the help!

If the windows have imprint stamps, then if we can borrow them to get the imprint correct, that would be wonderful (totally non destructive of course!)

if they don't have imprints then that is ok- pics would do perfectly to compare to

    Awesome!! thank you for helping

    Dave,
You probably have it, but if you don't, this might be of interest until Raj gets back to you................. off Ernie's R site

    Thank you chuck
that was the one i found earlier Ernie had posted on this site as well.
I don't think that all the R's had this detail either. But want to get our new product as accurate as possible

we even found a way to yellow the plastic to give it the authentic patina

    Dave,
Photos of R#11, R#20, and the Prototype R (Yellow car) appear to have original factory rear side windows with NO stamp. The original left side window from R#5 does have the stamp.

This is from my GT, I see that it is different than the 911R.

Some of the GT's I've seen have this, some do not.
