Alright, I'm talking with Flunder but here's the rub, I've discovered that the
wiper arm is missing although the blade carrier piece is there. I'll have to
go back to my storage to see if I can dig it up. They're still available at Pelican for
    $16.50 though, 901 628 303 00.

Now, as to the difference, this setup has 2 linkages, I'll post photos in a
little bit. The later ones had a single linkage between the motor and the
    wiper arm.

Perhaps it was a RHD thing, so that the wipers parked on the opposite
    side.

I think there are at least 4 different rear wiper arms that I know off, targa/coupe and silver/black. The black one's might be identical to the silver one's except the color. Do you know which arm 901 628 303 00 is?

    901 628 303 00 is the silver one. 901 628 611 00 is black.

BUT, you are correct, I've looked at the diagrams again and the
one required for this dual linkage setup is 901 628 612 00.

Parts catalog lists this as /RL which means RHD. It looks largely
the same but there's this extra linkage so that the arm parks on
    the driver's side.

Most of this stuff has to go to the platers first since cleaning it up will
make sure it turns orange in the rain :-)

Hi Andy, if I read your tread correctly, your rear wiper is for a RHD car. If the other members decide to pass I would be interested as I have a RHD Targa.

Two link is RHD, not LWB vs. SWB. When did the color change accur?
