How do I remove the silver discs behind the radio knobs to get the Hamburg radio out?

I don't want to break it so I have not forced it. They have to little holes or indentations which makes me think they may spin off with some sort of tool.

    Thanks,

    Ron

PS the radio is a 1972 Hamburg (not in a porsche, 72 Bavaria, sorry, but will be for sale to a porsche owner once I get it out!)

Just use a pair of 90 degree snap ring pliers and spin it off. If it's not too tight, you might be able to use thin needle nose pliers.
