    Here is a Pic of the engine vin.
    Hopefully somebody can get this back with the correct chassis...
    FYI, I have no affiliation with this. Just doing a pelican a favor.

    This is one of the earliest '69S motors around......
    We have only one earlier documented on our register....

    Chuck if you would want to add this to your register:

    My '69S with chassis number 0025 has engine number 6390064.

    I also have engine number 6390056 and case number 6390050, but no chassis to mate up to them. Am I correct in thinking that approximately the first 20 cars were used for crash testing or were destroyed? Is this true?

    JP, could you get me the third # on the case (next to the type #) for those 3 engines please. Having 4 numbers in close proximity would be most useful.

    Alan's car didn't come with the original engine, Gary Emory (builder of Alan's car) sold the engine to a vintage racer.

    I had the car (I sold it to Gary), but don't remember the engine number, but I remember it was low... real low.
