NObody beats Gus for long time quality and doing the job right the first time. There may be other quality rebuilders but I haven't talked to anyone that got 100% work elsewhere. I haven't needed his services in a while but if you have to ask about cost.... you had better be sitting down when you talk with him.

If you are in a big rush, you MIGHT check for a local BIG RIG workshop and see if anyone there rebuilds MFI. A lot of the older diesels used them and a fair amount of the truck shops knew how to work on them. A long time ago I badly needed to get a turbocharger resealed and the best local shop was Garretsons. They were backed up and I needed it NOW. I didn't want to waste the $$ on replacement as mine was in great shape expect for a burned out seal. I was referred to a truck shop by someone on one of the local IMSA teams. I went with my turbo & discovered one of life's dirty little secrets... Garretsons sublet their turbochargers out to this truck shop. I personally saw all the turbos sitting there. It was later verified by one of the race shop's employees... so you could find what you need a lot closer than you might realize [but after this experience I NEVER again accepted what I was told over the phone about something like this].

    Good luck
    JR
