Another unrestored HALDA Twinmaster, but with a pair of rare Heuer S.A.V.I.C.S.

These found their way to an Alpine Renault rally car...

...with some cool and functional quick-release D-Rings.

Love the release ring idea on your timers, I might have to adapt something like that - any lessons learned?

Here are mine - two triple sets, the pic is prior to clean, recalibration of the time pace, and mounting:

For my '68, a Super Autavia, a two button Monte Carlo, and an Auto Rallye; for my '67, a 4 number Master Timer, a Sebring, and a Monte Carlo.

I have mine over the radio opening, in place of a radio delete plate.

I sold the HALDA and SAVICs' and didn't do the install myself. There were no issues with the installation, other than having to fabricate a 'reproduction aluminum dash' so the original dash of the Alpine could be preserved (there is a mounting hole for every D-Ring installed).

The idea with the removable mounting brackets originated so not to tempt those with ill intentions.

Finally found a fine condition metal Halda Speedpilot and Twinmaster to mate with my '60s Heuer Rally Master Pair. Will mount in my '72 T/ST sometime this year and photograph.

Anyone have any leads on a resource to repair old Heuer dash-mounted timers and clocks. I've tried several vintage watch guys and none want to deal with them. I even tried the Tag-Heuer repair center but they declined saying they had no parts.

    Thanks,
    Bill

PS... I should clarify that many will clean and adjust these pieces, but none will repair if parts are broken.
