Russ, David Scothorn in the UK makes very nice reproduction mounting plates... he made my triple-plate for me.
Email him and tell him I sent you.

10/100th's watches were typically used in industrial time and motion studies, not sports. Minerva made piles of them as did Hanhart and Heuer (same movement, different case and logo).
They're called micrographs and serve many specific functions, from measuring assembly line efficiency to (digitally) power system switching speeds.

Years ago I got excited buying half a dozen NOS Minervas of that type for cheap money, like $20 bucks each. Not a huge expense but I quickly learned that converting any track timing with those clocks was impossible.
Imagine: a minute is 60 seconds... now try to convert a minute or an hour into metric. Yeah. Chess, sailing, rally and sports timers are based on standard 1/60 analog time. Period.

    Also: thank you Mark!!

    Thanks for the clarification Russ.
To tell my mates I used to be able to run a 4 minute 28 second Mile in 428 'something or others' would just raise eyebrows.

I bought these years ago from the owner of the original family and just came across them unpacking a box.

    Any thoughts on them?
