Yup! It's out there, about $100. I haven't gotten mine yet, plan on having it come for Christmas as a gift to me I have the old one...so I'm hoping there are a few updates of missing posters.

Can anyone tell me how to purchase one of these?
Thank you.

As someone who worked a great deal on this project I may be able to fill in a few holes and add some insight into how much fun (and hard work) went into getting this book published.
Four years ago I contacted Porsche's Historisches Archiv and Mr. Lewandowski about working together on an updated and expanded version of his 1984 Porsche racing poster book: 'Porsche Plakate - Posters - Affiches'. After a few years of determining who exactly could publish the book, Delius-Klasing Verlag stepped up and we started research.
Over the past 18 months I have gone through 21 private Porsche poster collections looking for racing posters missing from Porsche's extensive collection. There are over 35 new posters that date from 1951-1984 not to mention the hundreds of posters printed over the last 23 years. It is quite remarkable to see the artistic progression through the decades, especially now that each poster is reproduced in full color! The print quality is fantastic and the book is a quality item.
During my search I uncovered the earliest factory commissioned poster ever printed which commemorates Porsche's 1100cc class win at Le Mans in 1951 with a 356SL coupe. It has been said that this very early victory was the whole reason Erich Strenger started designing posters for Porsche in the first place. It is very likely that the '51 Le Mans 24 poster is the first.

In Europe it should be available directly from the publisher at: http://www.delius-klasing.de/shop/d...php4?artid=2515
If you're located in North America I would suggest contacting Frank Barrett at www.toadhallbook.com. Frank was very helpful in obtaining many of the 'missing' posters needed to make this a true anthology of Porsche advertising art.
In some ways you can treat the book like a catalog for these rare original posters. Find the poster you like the most and check Frank's website or call to see if he has an original copy of it!
If you have any questions regarding the bilingual (German/English) 'Porsche - Die Rennplakate: von 1951 bis Heute' please ask away.

For those who speak German it looks like we got a bit of coverage in Stern magazine (sort of like Newsweek in Germany).

It seems Stern has always been interested in Porsches...

Here's an interesting piece (to me...) for poster collectors.
It's an original shipping tube from Porsche dated 1957. This came with a purchase of a couple of 1957 posters I bought a couple of years ago.
You'll note that they even date the shipping label....
