    Restored Glove Box

I just finished restoring this for a fellow board member. The interesting thing about this, is it's a glove box out of the very first production 914/6...#001. It's now being restored.

I can't wait to see the car, it's pretty distinctive.

He can chime in if he wants to.

I just finished this 1960 356 B glove box for a fellow board member.

    1. The before.
    2. During...I fix the tears then sand the inside. If it's out of shape, I put it in
a press for a few days to try to get the shape back. Then I redo the
inside with the correct color of fibers (different models of Porsches have
different color combinations). Then fix the cardboard where it needs on
    the outside, then repaint.
    3. Finnished.

I did the research and got into doing this many years ago because I could not buy the correct glove box fo my '65 911.

    glove box

Looks good. I'm getting a sense of "ancient Chinese secret, huh?". The magician never give up his tricks. I joking really. John has given us all a lot of information of achieving original finishes.
